Cause I have over stayed two months in the last 10 years so need to wait for good character requirement

Was quick 10 days
Am non eu And got a PR biometric card
I applied was quick and easy only submitted my biometric card did not have to do anything or biometric finger prints
And today received my settled status

I contacted the MP he told me that when called them the6 said they made a decision and a letter was sent on the 26/03/18 but still waiting ? Does any one know how long it takes
