Visiting during tier 2 application

I'm planning on (or rather, my employer is planning on) making a Tier 2 application for me to work in the UK. They already have the certificate of sponsorship and all that's left is for me to show up at the visa application centre with my docs. However, shortly before the biometrics appointment I pl...

Re: RLMT RELATED

I think it might be better for you to find a different job with an employer that is already a Tier 2 sponsor and have them conduct the RLMT. This is for two reasons: one, if your employer isn't currently a Tier 2 sponsor, they'll have to apply for a license to be one, which could take some months to...

The guidance says an outcome will be notified to applicant via SMS today
It definitely won't be everyone though. Pretty sure it depends on the number of points you have as well. Those with higher points will probably get notified sooner, since they process fewer applications to get to that point.

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

I think it's unlikely the results will come out today, based on previous RCoS threads. It's much more likely to be the next working day, so the 12th. This also fits with what my employer has told me.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

If you search google news for “skilled visa Uk” you will notice that there have been over 10 articles posted by various new agencies in the past 5 hours or so Ah I just did so, and some of the comments under them are super depressing, with lots of locals ranting against an influx of "cheap&quo...

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

@Fractalo: It basically does mean that. A milkround is when companies tour university campuses to recruit students. I assume that they're given more points because graduate jobs will typically score less from the salary points column.

Re: Two Verbal Job Offers/RLMT

Any ideas here? Should I tell one employer to stop RLMT and go with the other?

Two Verbal Job Offers/RLMT

I currently have two verbal jobs offers. They have explained that they need to conduct the RLMT before they can proceed with other formalities (i.e., issuing an official job offer letter). I've explicitly said yes (but only verbally through an agency) to the first employer and implicitly said yes to...
