2 children in the same MN1 form

When we apply for both children in the same online form, it requires to provide all the trips outside the country only for the first applicant. When I add the second there is no option to add the trips. Although they have exactly the same trips. Is this normal? Even if we apply for both of them toge...

Foreign first name on MN1 with alternative spelling

We apply for my daughter's BC and in her current passport the first name has alternative spelling using OR (e.g. Aikaterini OR Ekaterini) from the transaction of the first name (local language to Latin mapping). We want to move on with the first spelling. Birth certificate it has been translated als...

MN1 Documents for child residence (2 or 5 years)

In MN1 guide, they explain some cases for registering children as BC. One is the below (in line), which is applicable to my case (applied AN, email confirmed successful case, no ceremony yet) and both children having EU settled status. The other parent is also EU settled. It requires children to hav...

Re: British by descent and next generations

All naturalised citizens are British citizens otherwise than by descent. As for your children, I presume that they were registered under either Section 1(3) (for children born in the UK whose parents later settled in the UK) or Section 3(1) (for children born abroad whose parents later settled in t...

British by descent and next generations

I am confused with the term British by descent and whether the next generations can still get BC automatically. If I got BC by naturalization (AN) and my children (born outside the UK) applied with me now (MN1). Will my kids who applied BC via MN1 almost at the same time as me, be considered as Brit...

EEA Family Permit for dependent member

It seems for elder parents we need to prove the dependency for EEA family permit. Does someone know what documents are accepted for financial dependency? We just share Bank statements? If there are also medical issues (high blood pressure, diabetes), live alone/widow, do we just provide a document f...

Re: MN1 Registration as a British citizen(Naturalisation)

Thank you for the reply. My actual question is can I apply for Naturalisation just for a Child only ( <18 yrs form MN1 else over 18 yrs form AN ) and both parents are currently ‘settled’ ILR status in the UK not applying for Naturalisation? No you cannot for a minor. One parent needs to be British ...

Re: MN1 (online form) Children Naturalisation

If my application is still under processing (no ceremony), can I select " apply with the parent"? Frankly speaking, that is the case (no British yet). Or that should be done only at the same day? They are not "applying with a parent" as you have already applied etc. Simply selec...

Re: MN1 (online form) Children Naturalisation

Your children apply under the Other at discretion option if applying without a parent. If they are unhappy with your referee, they will ask for another one. Their mother having settled status is very important, otherwise they cannot apply yet. Thank you CR001 If my application is still under proces...

Re: MN1 (online form) Children Naturalisation

Were the children born in the UK? Do they have settled status? You probably could have included the children with your AN application - at the end you could have selected further applicants (under 18) and the system would have adjusted to MN1. Note: You are only British once you have attended the c...

MN1 (online form) Children Naturalisation

I have applied for naturalisation and waiting for the confirmation (AN), as EU citizen. Still no answer from their answer. I am also planning to apply for my two children, born outside the UK. For the children, there is a different form so I didn't include them together. I also wanted to wait for my...
