Fast track application for child born abroad

Hi. My son was born in Ecuador and is British by descent (I’m British by birth). I’m travelling home to the UK for work whilst he stays with his mother in Ecuador.

Does anyone know if I can use a 1 week fast track service whilst I’m in the UK to get his 1st British passport even if he (the applicant) is still abroad and not in the UK?

I have all the supporting docs so seems easier than applying online from abroad. Thanks
